Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy

1. Our current use of browser technologies
medtrainit does not currently use:
- Google Analytics;
- Google Tag Manager;
- Google Ads conversion or remarketing tags;
- Meta or Facebook Pixel;
- Vercel Analytics or Speed Insights;
- heatmaps;
- session-recording tools;
- advertising cookies; or
- behavioural-tracking technologies.
Student learning information is not used for advertising.
2. Necessary technologies
medtrainit uses cookies, browser storage and similar technologies where necessary to provide and protect the service.
These include technologies used for:
Authentication and account sessions
Supabase may use secure browser storage or cookies to keep authorised users signed in and protect account sessions.
Payment and fraud prevention
Stripe may use necessary technologies on its hosted checkout pages to process payments securely and help prevent fraud.
Security and technical operation
Our hosting and security providers may use limited technical technologies necessary to deliver and protect the platform.
Blocking necessary technologies may prevent login, payment or normal use of medtrainit.
3. Why we do not currently show a consent banner
medtrainit does not currently use non-essential advertising or analytics technologies.
The technologies described above are used only where necessary to provide authentication, payment, security and the service requested by the user.
For this reason, medtrainit does not currently display a cookie-consent banner.
4. If our use changes
If we introduce a technology that requires consent:
- it will not be activated before consent is obtained;
- users will receive a clear choice;
- rejecting it will be as easy as accepting it; and
- this policy will be updated.
5. Browser controls
Most browsers allow users to block or delete cookies and browser storage.
Blocking necessary authentication or security technologies may prevent medtrainit from keeping the user signed in or operating correctly.
